Absolutely! Your major does not determine your eligibility nor competitiveness for applying to medical school.  The reason being you will still need to complete the prerequisite coursework necessary for admissions and/or for taking the MCAT.

There is no age limit for applying to medical school. The current trend shows that having some age behind you can be helpful, as the average age of the incoming first year medical school student is approximately 26 years old.
